Dear Family!
Lo siento sobre la email! No se que fue la problema! I was writing and had my whole letter written and went to press send w/ 3 min left & didn't and took a whole min and it just kept saying "sending..." Well, I started freaking out and tried to save it as a draft and it wouldn't save so then I logged off and logged back on on a different computer and looked at the draft and only about half my letter was there. Esture muy triste pero esta bien. Now you just get a hand written letter and if Deveney wants to she can type it up for the blog. If she doesn't want to, I completely understand. :) But I just wanted to tell you about the rest of my week. :)
Conference was really, really, good! Oh so very good! E. Christofferson's talk was probably my favoite...(at least it had the most stars by personal applications and quotes. :)) Not gonna lie though it was kina neat watching conference w/ 2000 other missionaries. And I really enjoyed getting to talk w/ my district at the end of everyday about what our favorite parts of the day were. It's always fun to hear other people's takes on the same talks to see how they applied it in their life. Very, very good days. :)
Sunday night we had a fireside w/ Vai Sikahema. He played at BYU and then in the NFL for a while and now he's a sports anchor at a news station in Philadelphia. His whole talk was about how sharing the gospel can be fun and interesting and how there's so manydifferent ways to do it. Like one time it was "Mormon Day" at the Phillies game and he got some missionaries that were in that mission to come and sing the National Anthem and then later he had them sing behind him while he was giving his sports report and they were singing "Called to Serve." It was pretty funny to watch. :) Oh, and Chad Lewis also came to hear Vai speak so that was cool to see him in the audience. :)
So, we had another companionship change his week. One of the hermanas from the older district, Hna Palmer, has had some health issues and so she didn't get to leave with the rest of her district so she joined ours for a bit. Hopefully it's only for a week or so, so then she'll get out there in Chile. Anyhow, since she joined our district for the time being, our branch president reassigned Hna Peak to be her companion so right now it's just Hna C and myself again. :) Hna Palmer is really run and it'll be good to have her for as long as she needs to be here :)
Did you all get a chance to watch the special that they had on the MTC between sessions of conference on Sunday?? We got to watch it Sunday night and it was pretty sweet. :) It basically shows everything about the MTC. A lot of the people from the older district were in it a lot, so it was cool to see them :) Pero, guess what?! I was in it too!! At the very, very end. :) Only for like a second, but still. :) Haha. If you get a chance to watch it, you should. I think it was called, "An Army of Faith--Inside the MTC." It was fun watching it. :)
