Hello!

Querida Familia!

  Well, this has been a good week! We've had a lot of chances to be out and helping a lot of people with yard work, so it's been good to be out and enjoying the sunshine!  
  We're have a pretty small teaching pool right now, so we're out trying to find more investigators a lot of the time!  Which is good... A ton more people are outside more and so we get to talk to a lot of different people that are just out and about walking.  But, here's an update on the investigators we do have :) :  Lamberto y Mari: Lamberto has been reading more and more!  Now he's being the example to Mari.  He's also taken more and more interest in religious things, which has made Mari really excited.  We had a good lesson with them about church, and they told us they were going to come, but then they ended up going out of town and they thought they'd be back by Sunday, but they got held up.  We'll see how things go this week.  Keep them in your prayers! :)  Julie Mott: We weren't able to meet with her last week, but hopefully this week!  Kathleen and Terry: So, we're not really teaching them... yet. We have been doing a ton of yard work at their house though, and it's been cool to see how much they've softened toward us and the church.  We went by Wednesday with the Bishop and the Young Men's president and cleaned up some more and we were able to share a scripture with them.  Little by little... :)
  We were also able to help out with a couple Less Active families.  The Davis' have been inactive for a really long time, but we were able to help them clean out their rabbit hutch that they have. They were surprised we had actually called them back to see when they were going to do it. :) Also, Lisa Johnson was doing some landscaping yard work and we stopped by and had a chance to help her with that.  It's so good to be out and helping others out.  
  Yesterday we had a ward conference in the Eastmont ward... In ward council we had the stake presidency in there, and Pres. Hunsaker (the stake president),  was talking about having effective ward council meetings and the difference there is in how they run them now compared to how they used to be run.  He also talked about the vision that he has for the spanish work here and how all the wards are going to be working together to help the spanish branch.  Doesn't matter if they're english speaking wards or not... The Spirit doesn't have a language barrier, this I've learned.  :)  Sis. Probst and I were getting pretty excited when he was talking about his plans.
